With this regulation, the next gasoline price adjustment period falling on the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year (January 30, 2025) will be moved to Saturday, February 1, 2025 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade also noted: "In case the price management period coincides with a holiday according to regulations, it will be implemented as follows: If Thursday falls on the first day of the holiday, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the previous Wednesday. If Thursday falls on the remaining holidays, the petrol price management period will be implemented on the first working day after the holiday."
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requests that the Departments of Industry and Trade and enterprises trading and distributing petroleum products comply with the regulations and this notice. The adjustment aims to ensure stable management of petroleum prices, without causing disruption to the market and people's lives during Tet.
