New electricity bill model applied from 1.6 people need to know

Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has designed a new invoice model, adjusted and added some information on the electricity bill to apply from June 1, 2025.

Pursuant to Decree No. 70/2025/ND-CP dated March 20, 2025 of the Government (abbreviated as Decree 70) amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating invoices and documents;

Pursuant to the Ministry of Finance's Circular No. 32/2025/TT-BTC of May 31, 2025 guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Tax Administration dated June 13, 2019, Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP of October 19, 2020 of the Government stipulating invoices, vouchers, Decree No. 70/225/CD-CP of March 20, 2025 amendments and supplements of Decree No. 123/2020.

Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) has designed a new revised invoice model to supplement some information according to the provisions of Decree 70 on the electricity bill to be applied from June 1, 2025. These include:

- Identification number;

- Code of the unit related to the budget;

- passport number.

In case the customer has provided the above information to the electricity unit (when signing the contract or changing the contract information, updating and supplementing information), the electricity bill will display the information according to regulations.
