Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Workshop, Mr. Le Hong Quang - General Director of MISA - representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized that AI has become a core tool in modern corporate governance.

MISA General Director affirmed: "To effectively apply AI, businesses need to change not only in technology but also in governance thinking and long-term development strategies. If we do not take drastic action right now, we will not only fall behind but also risk being eliminated from this competitive game".
Mr. Quang also emphasized the significance of the workshop in accompanying businesses in accessing practical knowledge and effective AI application strategies.
Dr. Can Van Luc - Member of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council, Chief Economist of BIDV, commented that the global economy is growing slowly. However, Vietnam's GDP still maintains its growth momentum thanks to an increase in exports of 14.3%, foreign direct investment (FDI) flourished, public investment was boosted and the VN-Index recovered by 12.2% in 2023.
However, businesses still face many challenges such as trade fluctuations, financial risks, cybersecurity and the impact of climate change. According to him, AI is not only a trend but has become a decisive factor in business performance.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Nguyen Viet Long - PhD in Technology and Economics Management, Seoul National University, emphasized that AI is reshaping modern businesses. AI also strongly affects the labor market, requiring human resources to develop professional skills, strategic thinking and master new technologies.
To make the most of the benefits of AI, according to Mr. Long, businesses need to quickly adapt, invest in human resources capable of mastering technology and integrating AI into each operating process. Strategically applying AI will help businesses create sustainable competitive advantages in a volatile business environment.

Sharing about the strategy of applying AI and smart data in corporate governance, MISA General Director Le Hong Quang said that the rate of AI-applied enterprises will increase from 33% in 2022 to 72% in 2024, strongly supporting customer service, cyber security and finance.
The application of AI helps optimize human resources, automate accounting and access capital faster. Currently, 5,000 businesses have been granted a loan limit of VND20,000 billion through MISA's AI platform, with a disbursement rate 4 times higher than the traditional method. In 2025, MISA plans to deploy AI Agent to increase productivity and reduce operating costs.

Also within the framework of the event, MISA has officially signed a cooperation agreement with Visa - a leading partner in the field of global payments to deploy payment solutions for businesses.

Ms. Dang Tuyet Dung - Director of Visa Vietnam and Laos - affirmed: "The combination of Visa's payment solution and MISA's enterprise management platform will be a comprehensive tool for businesses to take advantage of changes and make the most of the benefits in the context of Vietnam promoting cashless payments and enhancing transparency in spending".
