Thang Long Thermal Power Joint Stock Company has just issued 2 bonds to the domestic market with a total mobilized value of nearly 1,800 billion VND. Accordingly, the bond lot TLPCH2427002 with a volume of 9,000 bonds, par value of 100 million VND/bond, equivalent to a mobilized value of 900 billion VND, matures on September 16, 2027. The next bond lot coded TLPCH2427001, par value of 100 million VND/bond, interest rate of 10%, equivalent to an issuance value of 899.5 billion VND, matures on August 22, 2027.

These two bonds have a term of 3 years, with an interest rate of 10%/year. These are all “three no” bonds - non-convertible, non-warrant and non-secured. The custodian is An Binh Securities JSC.

Currently, Thang Long Thermal Power is circulating 3 bond lots, including the 2 above-mentioned bond lots and lot TLPCH2126001 with a value of 1,125 billion VND. This is a bond lot issued on December 30, 2021 with a term of 5 years, the maturity date is December 30, 2026.

Thus, the total value of the bonds issued by Thang Long Thermal Power is 2,924.5 billion VND. After 12 pre-term partial buybacks of the TLPCH2126001 bond lot, up to now, the cumulative volume of this bond lot in circulation is worth 522 billion VND. Thus, the value of the bonds currently in circulation of Thang Long Thermal Power is more than 2,300 billion VND.

Thang Long Thermal Power Joint Stock Company was established in August 2007, its main field of operation is electricity production, transmission and distribution. Its head office is located in Le Loi commune, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province. From July 2018 to present, the legal representative of the enterprise is General Director Nguyen Van Anh replacing Mr. Le Thanh Lam. Currently, the charter capital of Thang Long Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is 3,800 billion VND.

This enterprise is known as the investor of Thang Long Thermal Power Plant project - the first thermal power plant implemented by the private sector in Vietnam. Thang Long Thermal Power Plant is built on an area of ​​124.44 hectares, with the main plant area occupying 34.66 hectares, the slag dump area of ​​57.49 hectares, the coal port area of ​​12.39 hectares and other auxiliary areas of 19.9 hectares.

The plant has a designed capacity of 2x300MW, including 2 units, with a total investment of 900 million USD, located in Le Loi commune, Hoanh Bo district, Quang Ninh province. The project officially connected both units to the grid in 2018 after three years of implementation. The plant has a capacity of 600MW, producing 4.1 GWh/year of commercial electricity, reaching a capacity of 3.7 billion KWh/year.

In June 2024, Thang Long Thermal Power Joint Stock Company issued a notice inviting contractors to participate in competitive bidding for repair service packages at Thang Long Thermal Power Plant. Accordingly, the company needs to recruit contractors for the overhaul package of Unit 2 from September 5 to October 25, 2024, including repairs of boilers, turbines, electrical equipment and auxiliary systems. At the same time, the company is also looking for contractors to perform minor repairs of Unit 1 from August 7 to August 23, 2024 with similar items.
