Mr. Le Van Trung (32 years old, residing in B'Lao ward, Lam Dong) is disabled and has many difficulties walking. However, overcoming adversity, he has strived to rise up and become the director of a private enterprise specializing in producing and trading cordyceps products.
According to Mr. Trung, currently most of the business's transaction and sales activities are carried out through e-commerce platforms and online channels such as Facebook, Zalo, websites, YouTube... with a fairly stable customer base.
“We have been selling goods through e-commerce platforms for many years. This is an inevitable trend, so the customer base is maintained stably. Cordyceps products come in many types such as fresh, dried and extracted products. The most important thing is to ensure quality and reputation to create trust for customers. This Tet holiday, the number of orders is gradually increasing,” Mr. Trung shared.

After the merger, Lam Dong province became the largest macadamia "capital" in the country with about 16,000 hectares. Macadamia is considered one of the specialties with large consumption during Tet.
In addition to traditional sales methods, many farmers have now linked up with businesses, cooperatives, and production and business establishments to bring macadamia nuts products to e-commerce platforms in many diverse forms.
Ms. Mai Thi Duoc, owner of Thao Mai Macadamia Company (Gia Hiep commune, Lam Dong) said that the enterprise is purchasing macadamia from hundreds of households in the province, with a consumption market spread across the country and many foreign partners.
E-commerce is an inevitable trend in the context of strong 4.0 technology development. Thanks to e-commerce platforms, our macadamia nut products are known and trusted by domestic and foreign consumers.
This Tet holiday, sales through e-commerce accounted for more than 60% of the total product consumption," Ms. Duoc said.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Huong - Deputy Head of the Trade Management Department, Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, local agricultural products favored on e-commerce platforms are mainly dry products, easy to store and convenient for transportation.
Products such as coffee, tea, dried nuts, dried seafood, bottled fish sauce... are currently distributed quite diversely on e-commerce platforms.
Supporting farmers to access potential markets
According to Mr. Truong Van Tung, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Lam Dong province, e-commerce is a potential market, helping farmers and businesses promote and introduce products to consumers quickly and effectively.
The Provincial Farmers' Association has been and is supporting farmers to equip themselves with knowledge and skills in the direction of "holding hands and guiding" to access new consumption trends. Thanks to that, many farmers have quickly adapted, bringing agricultural products from the fields to consumers.

Mr. Truong Van Tung said that the whole province currently has 914 OCOP products that have been certified and participated in distribution on e-commerce platforms. Especially during Tet, OCOP products of Lam Dong are consumed quite positively.
Not only OCOP products, the whole province also has more than 1,200 agricultural products and thousands of farmers trained in e-commerce. Thereby, opening up new directions for production households.
Besides the role of the Farmers' Association, communes, wards and the Department of Industry and Trade of Lam Dong province also actively support farmers to access e-commerce platforms and social networks to improve product recognition and expand consumption markets.
In many localities such as Nhan Co, Di Linh, Bao Lam 1, Da Huoai, Duc Trong, Gia Hiep, Da Teh..., experts are invited to directly guide farmers to livestream sales, build promotional content, tell product stories, thereby improving business skills in the digital environment.
