Dak Nong - The prices of agricultural products such as coffee, pepper, cocoa... are at a high level, so they have brought joy and a large source of income to farmers.

In the first months of 2025, the Dak Nong agricultural sector flourished thanks to the high price of agricultural products, helping farmers achieve large profits, creating an optimistic atmosphere for production.

By early April 2025, coffee prices were at 127,000 VND/kg, pepper was at about 153,000 VND/kg, cocoa was 180,000 VND/kg...

In addition to coffee and pepper, the prices of some products such as cocoa, macadamia, passion fruit... have also increased compared to previous years, bringing a lot of joy to farmers.

For example, Pham Van Hanh's family in Dak Song district currently has nearly 2 hectares of pepper. With pepper prices anchored at over 150,000 VND/kg, Mr. Hanh excitedly said that pepper growers are making high profits.

According to Mr. Hanh, his family's pepper garden is cultivated organically, with a stable yield of more than 3 tons/ha. In 2025, it is estimated that each hectare will yield more than 500 million VND, 100 million VND higher than the previous year.

"The family is cultivating organic products, saying no to pesticides, using organic fertilizers to protect soil, water, and sustainable development. High and stable pepper prices have created a great motivation for the family to develop production with an annual income of billions" - Mr. Hanh shared.

According to the Dak Nong Department of Agriculture and Environment, the whole province currently has about 143,000 hectares of coffee. Of which, the harvested area is 131,000 hectares. The average coffee yield of the whole province is about 2.6 tons/ha, the total output in 2025 is forecast to be about 343,000 tons.

According to the assessment of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, since the beginning of the year, coffee has developed stably, with little pests. However, coffee is also facing a drought, farmers need to make efforts to protect their gardens.

For pepper, Dak Nong currently has 34,000 hectares, with an average yield of over 2.4 tons/ha, the total output in 2025 is estimated at 72,000 tons, 1,300 tons higher than in 2024.
