Johnson Wood Joint Stock Company transferred 1,500 kg of the resulting glue (used in the wood grafting stage as a type of adherent after use and classified as a type of waste that must be controlled) to a unit without a suitable environmental license for handling, which is not in accordance with the provisions of Clause 1, Article 83 of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020.
The main forms of fines for both acts are 550 million VND, of which act 1 is 320 million VND and act 2 is 230 million VND.
Previously, on March 14, the Chief Inspector of the Department of Agriculture and Environment issued a document requesting the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to handle administrative violations against Johnson Wood Joint Stock Company.
