    Dong Nai - The Provincial People's Committee fined Posco VST Company Limited in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park VND320 million for not having an environmental license.

    On March 26, information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that it had just fined Posco VST Company Limited in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park, Phuoc Thien Commune, Nhon Trach District for not having an environmental license as prescribed by the Provincial People's Committee, the main form of the fine is a fine of 320 million VND. However, the suspension of the operation of the source of waste without an environmental license of the project... was not applied... with the reason that Posco VST Company Limited had proactively prepared a report proposing to issue an environmental license.

    The company is also operating stably in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Park and relevant agencies and units have not recorded any reflections or complaints related to the field of environmental protection and the suspension of the waste generating source will affect 533 employees working at the company.

    At the same time, the violation has not caused serious consequences to human health and the environment.
