Abundant labor force
On August 1, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that in the period 2021 - 2025, Gia Lai Provincial Employment Service Center has provided and introduced jobs for 40,029 people, with a successful job connection rate of 22.63%.

According to assessments, Gia Lai province has a large labor market with the combination of the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast; the labor force in the province is relatively abundant (accounting for about 57.5% of the total population), helping to ensure human resources for economic sectors, especially industry, high-tech agriculture and services.
The network of training institutions and vocational education institutions is developing, including universities, colleges and many vocational education institutions; the quality of training is gradually being improved, meeting the basic needs of the local labor market.

Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and economic zones, industrial parks, and industrial clusters in the province are developing strongly, creating many job opportunities on the spot, reducing labor migration, helping workers have more opportunities to access jobs.
The private economy will boost the labor market
Thereby, creating a positive labor shift, attracting workers from the informal sector to the formal sector, contributing to ensuring social security in the province.
However, currently the labor force is still mainly concentrated in the agricultural sector and traditional occupations, while the demand for recruiting highly skilled workers in the industrial and service sectors has not been fully met.
To make the labor market and employment develop vibrantly, contributing to ensuring social security, Mr. Duong Mah Tiep - Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee proposed many solutions to central ministries and sectors.
In which, focus on forming concentrated raw material areas associated with deep processing; supporting the development of cooperatives, cooperative groups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and business households.
Encourage the development of industries such as brocade weaving, bamboo and rattan weaving, agricultural product processing, pharmaceuticals, forestry and traditional crafts.
Thereby, creating conditions for workers to find suitable jobs, have stable incomes, improve their lives, and contribute to increasing labor productivity and socio-economic development of the province.
