Launching a credit default package of up to 1.5 billion VND to support capital for SMEs

To support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Viettel cooperates with Techcombank to implement a non-performance loan package with a limit of up to 1.5 billion VND.

The product is designed to meet the short-term working capital needs of businesses, helping SMEs proactively generate cash flow in production and business activities, from importing goods, paying raw materials to paying personnel salaries and regular operating costs.

Removing barriers to secured assets

In the process of operation, many small and medium-sized enterprises often encounter difficulties in accessing bank capital due to requirements for collateral and complicated procedures. This causes businesses to miss business opportunities or face cash pressure in times of urgent capital needs.

To solve the above problem, Viettel Telecom and Techcombank have coordinated to implement a non-required collateral out-of-pocket loan package right on the Tendoo Lending platform. Accordingly, businesses can be granted a credit limit of up to 1.5 billion VND with a maximum loan term of 12 months and a competitive interest rate from 9%/year.

Flexible use of capital, optimizing financial costs

Unlike traditional forms of borrowing, the unsecured overdraft package is built based on the cash flow characteristics of SMEs, bringing maximum proactiveness in the capital use process.

Businesses can use capital directly from the allocated limit to serve essential payment needs such as purchasing goods, raw materials, electricity and water costs, telecommunications or employee salaries. Dossiers and documents serving the purpose of capital use can be supplemented according to regulations after the disbursement time, helping businesses handle financial needs promptly.

In addition, customers are completely exempt from prepayment fees. The loan interest is paid on the last working day of the month, while the principal is paid flexibly according to actual cash flow, without imposing a fixed payment schedule. This mechanism helps businesses optimize capital use costs and improve financial management efficiency.

Accompanying businesses in the digital ecosystem

Currently, the program is being implemented for businesses that simultaneously meet the conditions: operating for at least 24 months, having business registration in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City and using Viettel's SInvoice electronic invoice service and meeting Techcombank's credit granting regulations in each period. In the near future, Tendoo Lending and Techcombank plan to expand the scope of implementation nationwide to serve a wider number of businesses.

A representative of Viettel Telecom said: "With the characteristic of needing to rotate capital continuously, businesses need financial solutions that can be accessed and used immediately when needs arise. Expanding cooperation with Techcombank is a step forward in Viettel Telecom's strategy to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem. We not only support businesses in managing sales and electronic invoices but also provide practical financial solutions, contributing to simplifying the capital access process and promoting sustainable growth.

In the context that businesses are increasingly prioritizing multi-service integration platforms to optimize operations, the cooperation between Tendoo Lending and Techcombank is expected to bring another effective financial tool, helping the Vietnamese SME community improve cash flow management capacity, accelerate the digital transformation process and increase competitiveness in the market.
