The project to upgrade and expand the Geological Hot Mineral Nursing Center into a Geological Hot Mineral Resort of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV), in Cam Thach Ward, Cam Pha City, is one of the projects that TKV and Quang Ninh Province prioritized in removing procedures to start construction this year.
According to the representative of Mining Geology Joint Stock Company - the unit assigned by TKV to manage and exploit this special mineral water mine, the procedures have been basically completed to be able to start construction in July.
Currently, in Cam Pha, there are 2 special saltwater hot springs, one of which is located in a high-end resort, Quang Hanh ward and the other is the Center for Nursing Geological Minerals of Mining Geology Joint Stock Company, under TKV, in Cam Thach ward.
These mineral water sources are all exploited very deep underground, with temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius and especially salinity, ranked as one of the most famous Bromine mineral water locations in the world with Brom content from 49-51mg/l and very good for health.
Of which, the hot, saltwater source of the Geological Hot Mineral Nursing Center, first discovered in 1963, is currently being exploited at the 28B drill hole at a depth of 342.5m to 402.5m.
According to research, with mineral content, and especially Bromine concentration, regular hot mineral baths are very beneficial for health and have the effect of curing some diseases. In particular, it helps relax the nerves; stimulates digestion; reduces fatigue, pain and quickly recovers muscle and joint functions, strengthens bones, teeth and is good for the skin and hair; treats arthritis...
However, the price in a resort is too high - not less than 1 million VND/person/time, while the price at TKV's geological mineral water mine is quite cheap, suitable for miners and the majority of people - only from 60,000 - 80,000 VND/person/time but the ability to meet the deadline is limited.
To meet the above needs, TKV plans to invest in a project to upgrade and expand the Geological Hot Mineral Nursing Center into a Geological Hot Mineral Resort, with a total investment of about 200 billion VND. In which, there will be a high-end area and a popular area, with the capacity to welcome about 1,100 visitors/day.
