Northwestern tourist destinations simultaneously " put on new clothes"
In the central area of Sa Pa (Lao Cai province), Ham Rong Mountain Tourist Area, Bac Waterfall, Tinh Yeu Waterfall, Muong Hoa railway slide... have all been renovated and supplemented with items to bring a new experience to visitors.
In Cat Cat village, local people are tirelessly preparing for live shows recreating life and unique customs and practices. Travel companies are "sprinting" to promote events that attract customers such as rose festivals and traditional horse racing.
Mr. Cao Van Thang - Director of a large hotel in Sa Pa shared: "We have just painted and maintained the escalator and air conditioning room system, and added staff on duty 24/7. Sa Pa has a lot of fog this season, high humidity, so upgrading the air supply system to a fresh air supply system and warm the room is a top priority".
Not only accommodation, restaurants and eateries in Sa Pa are also ready to welcome a large number of tourists during peak times.
Mr. Vu Dai Duong - Vice President of Lao Cai Tourism Association - said: "All restaurants have prepared carefully because the number of visitors this time is predicted to be very large. Sa Pa is originally rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, so visitors can rest assured about the supply".
