Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Quang Tien - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that the locality wishes to use the activities at the Festival to exchange, promote achievements, promote trade and tourism with other provinces, thereby strengthening joint ventures, attracting investment to boost development.

The 2024 Thai Nguyen Agricultural Products, OCOP, and Craft Villages Tourism Festival takes place from December 5 to 9. This is the second time Thai Nguyen province has organized the Festival, with 200 booths from more than 30 provinces and cities.

At the program, a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony between Thai Nguyen province and Tiktok Vietnam took place.
Previously, as part of the Festival activities, the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Tiktok Vietnam to organize a trade promotion program, introducing and connecting product consumption on the e-commerce platform. Dozens of content creators on the Tiktok platform visited and experienced the local tea culture space. Directly participated in the traditional tea picking and processing process.
On December 4, the delegation visited Khe Coc, Trai Cai, and Tan Cuong tea hills and experienced culture at the Thai Hai Ethnic Ecological Stilt House Village Conservation Area.
According to Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh - General Director of Tiktok Vietnam, over the past 2 years, the unit has implemented a series of programs to support digital transformation and green transformation to improve digital skills for localities.
"Each locality has its own specialties, unique cultural features, attractive destinations and festivals. However, their full potential has not been exploited and promoted.
On the Tiktok platform, through camera angles and storytelling, content creators will contribute to spreading information. The goal is to build the Thai Nguyen tea brand, including cultural features, history, and tea origin, thereby promoting consumption for economic and social development," said Mr. Lam Thanh.
