On September 19, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province directed many solutions to improve service quality, creating a good impression on tourists.
According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with Cam Ranh International Airport to advise on a document recommending the Central agency to promptly approve the adjustment of the planning of Cam Ranh International Airport for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Notably, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to preside over the study of the establishment of a coordination working group between units at the airport, departments, airlines, and Tourism Associations.
The working group will be responsible for grasping and promptly handling problems, improving the quality of customer service, supporting the organization of connecting activities to expand flights and promote and advertise Khanh Hoa tourism.
In particular, the province emphasized the need to seek opportunities to develop new international routes, especially from potential markets such as India, Japan, and Australia.
The People's Committees of Bac Cam Ranh Ward and Cam Lam Commune were assigned to survey and supplement the system of trees, flowers, collect garbage concentrated in the area in front of the Station, and mobilize the demolition of temporary tents along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to create a clean and beautiful landscape, creating a positive impression on tourists.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Ninh Thuan Tourism Association and tourism businesses to proactively build new products, coordinate with airlines to implement promotional, advertising, and stimulus programs, and support groups of guests during peak hours.
Regarding procedures, Cam Ranh International Airport is required to coordinate with the Airport Authority, Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, Border Guard, Customs Branch of Region XIII, International Medical Quarantine Center to shorten the time for immigration procedures, customs clearance, increase staff during peak hours, add screening counters and multi-lingue instructions.
The XIII Regional Customs Branch was assigned to study plans to increase human resources during peak periods to serve immigration and customs work.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the focal agency for monitoring and urging implementation; at the same time, periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee and study the organization of national and international events associated with the image of Khanh Hoa tourism, thereby positioning the destination brand, improving the quality of human resources in the tourism industry.
