On October 11, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to inform about the results of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030; at the same time, introduced the program of the Lam Dong Provincial Investment Promotion Conference in 2025.
Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Dang Hong Sy said that the Congress took place from October 9 to 11 at the Military Academy (Lam Vien Ward, Da Lat) with the participation of 498 official delegates representing more than 124,000 party members from 128 affiliated party committees.
According to Mr. Dang Hong Sy, the Congress determined the goal of: building a clean and strong Party Committee; comprehensive socio-economic development; taking the happiness and prosperity of the people as the goal to strive for.
By 2030, Lam Dong strives to become a fairly developed province, one of the dynamic growth poles of the Central Highlands and South Central regions.
In the 2025-2030 period, the province sets a target of GRDP growth of 10-10.5%/year, GRDP per capita of 6,700-7,500 USD.
The Congress also identified 3 development breakthroughs including: Investment, construction and development of a synchronous and modern infrastructure system. Promote administrative reform, thoroughly remove bottlenecks and bottlenecks.
Innovation of personnel work, improving the quality of human resources. Focus on investing in strategic infrastructure projects
In the new term, Lam Dong focuses on implementing investment projects from the State budget and public-private partnerships (PPP) such as:
North - South high-speed railway, Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway (Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong section), Nha Trang - Lien Khuong Expressway, Gia Nghia - Phan Thiet, North - South (west section Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh),
The province also implemented new administrative - political center projects, irrigation works, Son My I and II power plants, Son My port warehouses, along with commercial urban areas, high-tech zones, logistics centers, seaports, and dry ports.
Notably, the province will attract investment in bauxite plant complexes, aluminum - aluminum processing, renewable energy projects, offshore wind power, and the southern coastal economic zone of Lam Dong, while upgrading and expanding Lien Khuong international airport and Phan Thiet airport.
9 projects are newly granted investment certificates
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc said that right after the Congress, the province will organize an investment promotion conference in 2025 on October 11-12 in Xuan Huong ward (Da Lat).
At the conference, the province awarded investment certificates to 9 new projects in the fields of urban, tourism, energy, and industrial parks, with a total area of over 23,000 hectares and a total investment capital of over VND33,000 billion.
At the same time, the province signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with many large investors in the tourism and renewable energy sectors.
In parallel, Lam Dong calls for investment in 72 key projects, including: 25 real estate projects, 3 tourism projects, 12 industrial - energy projects, 7 transport infrastructure projects...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that Lam Dong has identified transport infrastructure projects and digital infrastructure as key projects in the coming time.
