On October 11, the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee signed a decision approving three investment projects to expand water supply pipelines in 5 border communes in the area. The total investment cost of the 3 projects is up to more than 87 billion VND.
The projects using lottery capital are designed in the medium-term public investment plan at the end of the 2021-2025 period and transition to the 2026-2030 period.
All 3 projects are invested by the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation of Lam Dong province.
The goal of the projects is to completely solve the shortage of clean water, while contributing to improving sanitation conditions, improving public health, and promoting socio-economic development for 5 communes in Lam Dong.
Specifically, the project to expand the water supply pipeline for Bac Ruong, Nghi Duc and Duc Phu communes, Tanh Linh district (now Bac Ruong commune and Nghi Duc commune, Lam Dong province) has a total investment of more than 31.4 billion VND.
The expected implementation period is from 2025 to 2028. The project will install about 86.8 km of HDPE pipeline (D63D250 diameter), along with technical items.
The project to upgrade and expand the water system of La Da and Dong Giang, Ham Thuan Bac district (now La Da commune and Dong Giang commune, Lam Dong province) has a total investment of more than 24 billion VND, implemented from May 2025 to May 2028.
The system will install 32km of HDPE D110'D250mm pipeline and accompanying equipment.
The project to expand the water supply pipeline in Nam Chinh commune, Duc Linh district (now Duc Linh commune, Lam Dong province) with a total investment of nearly 31.4 billion VND.
The project implementation period is in the period of 20252027. The project scale includes 74.3km of HDPE pipeline (D63'D160mm) and auxiliary equipment.
