On the morning of January 11, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the Conference to summarize the work in 2025, deploy the directions and tasks for 2026 of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee.
The conference is organized to comprehensively assess the results of leadership and direction in implementing political tasks in the past year, and at the same time identify key tasks and solutions for 2026.
In 2025, the Government Party Committee focused on leading and directing drastically and synchronously ministries, branches, and agencies in the political system, achieving many important and comprehensive results in all fields.
The Party Committee of the Government leads socio-economic development in 2025, achieving and exceeding all 15/15 key targets; GDP growth reached 8.02%, ranking high in the region and the world.
The work of perfecting institutions, building laws, developing strategic infrastructure, digital transformation, science and technology, and ensuring social security has been implemented methodically and effectively, creating a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable development.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that Party building work is particularly valued by the Government Party Committee, identified as a decisive factor ensuring the comprehensive leadership of the Party in directing and operating the country's development. The achieved results clearly demonstrate the innovative thinking, daring to think, daring to do, knowing how to "turn danger into opportunity, turn challenges into motivation", creating a foundation, momentum and new development for the next stage.
Within the framework of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded Certificates of Merit from the Government Party Committee to Party organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in leadership in implementing political tasks in 2025.
Comrade Phung Quang Hiep, Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam National Chemical Group, was honored to be one of the typical individuals to be commended, recognizing outstanding contributions in leadership, direction, and organization of assigned tasks.
The awarding of the Certificate of Merit from the Government Party Committee to Comrade Phung Quang Hiep is a worthy recognition of the spirit of responsibility, the exemplary role of the head, and at the same time shows the concern of the Government Party Committee in encouraging and motivating cadres and party members to continue to promote wisdom and bravery, making positive contributions to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new development period.
