According to the organizing committee, the Red Star - Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Award 2025 will be implemented from July 2025. The Organizing Committee has recorded more than 300 candidates registering to participate. Through the selection process, 137 entries from 26 provinces and cities were nominated to participate in the award. On October 2, 2025, the National Preliminary Selection Council met and voted for 120 candidates to enter the final round.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien expressed his expectation for the youth of the Vietnamese young entrepreneurs, especially the entrepreneurs who received the Red Star Award in 2025.
He hopes that the young entrepreneurs will pioneer and be a pioneer in the breakthrough in the development of science and technology and national digital transformation; not only apply but also master core technology, take the lead in digital transformation, green transformation, conquer new heights of technology; participate in the global market, contributing worthily to national autonomy.
The Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also hopes that the young business community will be unanimous and join hands to build a Vietnamese business culture, patriotism, transparency, integrity, the rule of law, creativity, innovation, professionalism, and social responsibility...
Immediately after the Preliminary Selection Conference, 43 practical appraisal teams were established, with the participation of leaders of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association; Young Entrepreneurs Associations of provinces, cities, affiliated units; financial experts and press units. The appraisal teams have directly visited each enterprise to evaluate the documents as well as the production and business activities of the candidates to help the Final Selection Council have the most accurate and comprehensive assessment basis.
At the General Meeting, the Council worked seriously and objectively, researched the documents, discussed carefully and agreed to select the top 100 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs of 2025, top 30 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs and secretly voted to select the 10 Best Young Entrepreneurs to award the 2025 Red Star Award.
In particular, within the framework of this year's voting program, the General Council agreed to propose the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to consider awarding the honorary Red Star title in 2025 to a determined young entrepreneur, overcoming adversity to rise up in life, having a startup journey and silent contributions to the community - a strong source of inspiration, spreading humanistic values and the will to rise up among young entrepreneurs nationwide.
Enterprises of the top 100 young entrepreneurs who won the 2025 Award have total assets of nearly VND3 million billion; generate revenue of over VND310 trillion; Profit after tax reaches nearly VND42,000 billion; Budget contribution in 2024 is nearly VND21 trillion; Total number of employees is nearly VND60,000. In particular, the enterprises of the 10 Red Star 2025 entrepreneurs have total assets of over VND 2.8 million billion; generate revenue in 2024 of over VND 214 trillion; Profit over VND 30 trillion; Pay nearly VND 14 trillion to the budget; Total number of employees over 19 thousand people.
