Chagee Vietnam is introduced as "an official part of the famous Chinese milk tea brand - Chagee".
This brand caused a stir in the Vietnamese consumer community in March 2025, even before opening its first store. The reason comes from the fact that the company's ordering application was discovered to display a map with an illegal image of the "row tongue road", violating Vietnam's sovereignty.
At that time, on a premises that was said to be Chagee's first store located in a prime location at the Dong Khoi - Nguyen Thiep intersection (old District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), this brand once constructed a signboard.
However, after the incident, all signs at this location were removed.
Recently, on July 14, the Chagee Vietnam fanpage continued to post information about the opening of a new store at 59 Nguyen Duc Canh, Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, causing a stir in public opinion again.
