Ho Chi Minh City man wins Vietlott lottery of over 83 billion VND
Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) has just officially organized the award ceremony named Jackpot 1. The lucky customer, Mr. Bui Van Manh from Ho Chi Minh City, received the Power 6/55 self-selected lottery prize (term 01350) with a total value of up to 83,559,176,100 VND.
Mr. Manh's life-changing lottery ticket was issued at Point of Sale No. 59 Hung Vuong Street, Ben Cat Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is also a familiar place that he regularly visits to participate in Vietlott lottery products for many years.
Mr. Bui Van Manh revealed that he is a "hard-core fan" of Vietlott. Right from the early days of computerized lottery opening in Vietnam, he participated and especially loved the two Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55 products thanks to their attractive prize values.
For the past 10 years, buying Vietlott lottery tickets for him has not only been to try his luck but also a daily entertainment hobby. As a responsible player, he sets a discipline for himself: buying 4-5 tickets each day, limiting spending to a maximum of only about 300,000 VND per week.

Mr. Manh shared at the award ceremony that, although he never thought he would touch the Jackpot prize, he always nurtured a special dream: If he wins Vietlott lottery, he will definitely publicize his identity to prove to everyone that the winner is real people, real things, a completely true story.

Before the fateful draw, Mr. Manh still maintained the habit of going to his familiar sales point. Usually, he often lets the system choose numbers randomly. However, that day he decided to "change the wind", try his luck by buying only one "7 envelope" ticket to increase opportunities and find novelty. That small change decision brought him the Jackpot 1 prize of the biggest lottery in his life.
Recalling the moment of discovering he had won the Vietlott lottery prize, Mr. Manh recounted that at that time he and his wife were cleaning the house. Initially, he was surprised and couldn't believe his eyes and had to check the results many times to be sure. Immediately, he shared this overwhelming joy with his family, relatives and close friends. During the days waiting to receive the prize, he was so nervous that he lost sleep many nights because he was so happy.
At the ceremony, keeping his promise for many years, Mr. Manh "revealed his face", completely revealing his identity when receiving the amount of more than 83 billion VND.
Speaking about future plans, the Vietlott lottery winner said that the couple will plan to use financial resources reasonably to improve the quality of life, invest in business and do charity. Showing a sense of responsibility to the community, right at the award ceremony, Mr. Manh decided to deduct 1,000,000,000 VND (1 billion VND) to donate to the Tam Tai Viet Fund to carry out social security activities.

According to regulations, when receiving a lottery prize, Mr. Bui Van Manh is obliged to pay personal income tax (10% of the value exceeding 10 million VND). The tax amount of more than 8.3 billion VND was deducted immediately upon receiving the prize and paid into the budget of Ho Chi Minh City, where the lucky ticket was issued.
