From lecture halls to farms, factories: TH trains young technical talents

TH Young Talent Award, co-organized by TH Group (owner of the TH true MILK clean fresh milk brand) and Vietnam - Korea College of Industrial Technology in mid-May, brought interesting practical experiences to students in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and automotive technology.

The program is accompanied by the For Vietnamese Stature Fund within the framework of the Student Development Initiative (DynaGen Initiative) implemented by TH Group, BAC A BANK and Education & Times Newspaper.

The playground of "real pressure" and "golden" career opportunities

According to the Organizing Committee, participating in the award, students not only have access to modern technology, but also directly face difficult technical problems under strict time pressure. From there, they can improve their practical and working skills, meeting the requirements of businesses.

In fact, many students who came out of last year's competition are currently working at TH's large-scale factories and farms, many students have held key and important positions in technical departments. That is the clearest proof of TH Group's commitment to accompanying high-quality labor in the locality.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Doan - Vice Rector of Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College affirmed that the companionship of businesses in contributing ideas and innovating teaching content and methods is an important'key', helping students quickly catch up with work and not be surprised by the actual requirements of the labor market.

The competition has a 50% exam structure from the school and 50% from businesses. This helps us to better understand the actual needs to adjust teaching methods, helping students not only master practice but also have real-world thinking. This is also a motivation and orientation for them to strive to work in a livable and worthy place like TH Group," Mr. Anh Doan said.

For many years, TH has sent lecturers to teach soft skills to students. In particular, for the past 3 years, right from the time of enrollment, students have been given the opportunity to visit TH's member units to learn about techniques at automobile engine maintenance workshops, automatic production lines... in order to soon have career orientation.

Building high-quality human resources

Ms. Luu Thi Thu Hien - Deputy General Director of TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company affirmed: Close connection with schools is not simply finding personnel, but also a journey to awaken learning ability, shorten the gap between textbooks and practice, helping students have the clearest view of their future careers.

At TH, creativity is the core value. We want to unleash creative potential right from when they are still in school, so that that spirit not only spreads at TH but also reaches the community of schools and businesses.

Through the competition, students experience and understand the actual work to be done and practice combat bravery. Although the time pressure is very high, the confidence and bravery of the students have proven that the quality of practical training at the school is changing very positively," Ms. Thu Hien shared.

In fact, at TH Group, the technical team (related to engines and equipment) accounts for a very high proportion, up to 30% of the total human resources of the enterprise. This requires candidates to be able to catch up and work immediately upon graduation.

In recent years, TH Group has focused on synchronously implementing many solutions to build high-quality human resources. The unit has proactively sought out young talents at universities and colleges nationwide, in which special priority is given to "school land" Nghe An - a place that owns abundant and quality human resources.

In addition to directly recruiting and bringing trainees to work at member units, TH also established a sustainable companion roadmap from the time students first enroll until graduation.

Notably, TH also applies a specific internal training model: Sending key technical staff to directly teach to impart knowledge and practical experience to the next generation.

Following the success of the award held at Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, the organizers will continue to organize the award at Vinh University of Technical Education on June 5th.
