The workshop "To make Khanh Hoa a comprehensive green destination for the world" has just held a meeting with many experts, businesses and management agencies to discuss green development solutions, build a sustainable tourism roadmap and spread the message of improving the quality of life for the community and tourists, aiming for the goal of 80% of establishments achieving "environmental friendliness" certification by 2030.
At the event, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - emphasized the recovery and strong growth of Khanh Hoa in recent times. In addition, the province also promotes many green transformation programs, from urban development towards ecology, intelligence, and energy saving.

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien also agreed that "green development" should be spread to all fields, from tourism to urban planning, traffic management, environment, energy, etc.
"This is both a goal and an opportunity for Khanh Hoa to make a breakthrough, contributing to the common goal of the whole country on green growth and sustainable development" - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assessed.
Sharing the same view, Master Huynh Ho Dai Nghia (Faculty of International Relations, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City) affirmed that Khanh Hoa has the potential to become a smart city with its own identity and competitiveness in the Asian region. He proposed many solutions to promote the application of green transformation in human resource management, finance, transportation, ... to create a solid foundation, improve governance capacity and service quality.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dinh Xuan Thuy - Deputy Commercial Director of Vietjet - said: "In the first half of 2025, Vietjet transported more than 1 million passengers to Cam Ranh International Airport, contributing to promoting tourism activities in the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa".

Mr. Dinh Xuan Thuy also emphasized that as an air carrier, Vietjet believes that Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa still have a lot of room to develop tourism, attracting domestic and international tourists through promoting the opening of new routes in the future.
Facing the problem of developing air transport in the green transformation period, Vietjet Deputy Commercial Director shared that the airline has pioneered the application of a data tracking system according to international standards, especially on emissions. On each flight, the airline proactively reduces items that have an impact on the environment and gradually digitizes the entire experience such as online check-in, limited paperwork, contributing to savings and being more environmentally friendly.

We aim for a green flight model associated with a green destination, where airlines, localities and accommodation establishments work together to bring a complete and sustainable experience to tourists. This will also be a topic that Vietjet is ready to share and exchange with the international community, Mr. Thuy added.
Vietjet's mission is to connect domestic and foreign cultures, bring more tourists to Khanh Hoa, and promote the local image to the world. In the coming time, in addition to the wide flight network across Asia, the airline aims to exploit the markets of Australia, Kazakhstan and Europe, bringing Khanh Hoa's green story closer to international friends, creating more value for customers on each flight as well as for local tourism.
Closing the workshop "To make Khanh Hoa a comprehensive green destination of the world", the green development orientation of the locality has been clarified with many specific solutions. With the cooperation of the government, businesses and the community, Khanh Hoa has the opportunity to create its own mark, affirming its position as a sustainable green destination on the global tourism map.
