According to a report from Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee, the socio-economic situation in the first months of 2026 continued to recover positively, contributing to increasing GRDP by 6.31%. Total state budget revenue as of April 17 reached more than 8,642 billion VND, equal to 38.28% of the year's estimate; credit, production and business activities basically maintained stability.
The province focuses on accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital, constructing many key projects such as Dai Ngai bridge, Ba Lai 8 bridge, Dinh Khao bridge and National Highway 57 bypass. At the same time, investment promotion, business development, agricultural and industrial production continue to record many positive changes in the first months of 2026.
Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term of Vinh Long province - said that up to now, the Statistics Department has announced that Vinh Long province's GRDP in the first quarter of 2026 is 6.31%, showing positive signs of recovery of the local economy.
According to the Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, the above growth results reflect the efforts of the entire political system, the business community and people in the context that there are still many difficulties and challenges for production, business and investment activities.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to remove bottlenecks in infrastructure, accelerate disbursement of public investment, improve competitiveness and create favorable conditions for businesses to develop, towards the goal of sustainable growth and improving people's lives," Vinh Long Provincial Party Secretary added.
