On January 14, at the Center for Innovation and Digital Transformation, the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Long province organized the launching ceremony of the "Brand and Technology Space". The event marked an important shift from scientific research to practical operation, towards building and developing local brands.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien - Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee said that the Space was formed on the basis of the scientific and technological task "Researching and building operating space models and supporting the development of branded products of Vinh Long province" chaired by Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
According to Mr. Thien, this is the result of close coordination between scientists, experts, management agencies and businesses to solve practical problems, improve the value and competitiveness of local products.

The Brand and Technology space is positioned as a "soft development institution", operating simultaneously in three aspects. In which, the physical space serves display, connection, training, and incubation of startup ideas; the digital space supports product dataization, traceability, communication and e-commerce; the policy space is a pilot place for innovation support mechanisms.
The focus of Space is to elevate key products, OCOP products and science and technology products through intellectual property protection, forming a value chain with high identity and competitiveness.
Leaders of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the launch of Space also contributes to concretizing Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, showing the determination to shift from "management" thinking to "development creation", building a sustainable innovation ecosystem.
Within the framework of the event, many activities took place such as signing memorandums of cooperation with universities, businesses, and the Provincial Youth Union; awarding prizes for the local specialty gift basket design contest and performing the ceremony to launch the Space operation.
