On August 25, the Department of Industry and Trade of Vinh Long province coordinated with the Institute for Policy and Strategy Research - Central Policy and Strategy Department to organize a training class "Updating regulations, standards and export opportunities to the Chinese market in the context of international economic integration" in 2026.
Attending were Mr. Pham Phuoc Trai - Deputy Director of Vinh Long Department of Industry and Trade; M.A. Nguyen Anh Duong - Head of the Department of General Research and International Integration, Institute for Policy and Strategy Research - Central Policy and Strategy Department, along with 120 students who are representatives of departments, agencies, branches, localities, universities, associations, unions, businesses, cooperatives and production facilities.
At the training class, M.A. Nguyen Anh Duong systematized key contents on the new context of international economic integration, the map of 19 FTAs of Vietnam and the upgraded content of the ACFTA 3.0 Agreement.
Notably, trainees are updated on changes in regulations, standards and compliance dossiers of China, including Order 280 replacing Order 248, GACC/CIFER system, regulations on planting area codes, packaging facilities and food quarantine according to new protocols.
In addition to policy knowledge, the speaker exchanged practical solutions for Vinh Long businesses on data management, traceability digitization, deep processing and green transformation, thereby improving capacity to meet market requirements.
The discussion and answering session focused on practical problems in code registration, C/O issuance procedures, shipment quarantine and requirements related to exports to China.
Through the training class, Vinh Long aims to support businesses and cooperatives to proactively update regulations, standardize production - export processes, effectively utilize FTAs and improve the value of local agricultural products in the international market.
