The 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2026 – 2031 is an important political event of the country, taking place from May 11 to May 13, 2026 at the National Convention Center (NCC), Hanoi, with the participation of nearly 1,200 official delegates and many guests.
As a key telecommunications and information technology enterprise, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) is assigned the task of establishing and financing the entire telecommunications and transmission infrastructure system to serve the Congress. According to the Group's direction, VNPT Hanoi urgently deployed technical plans at the site, ensuring that the entire information system operated stably and continuously throughout the event.
To prepare for the Congress, VNPT Hanoi's technical force from the Infrastructure Center, Tu Liem Telecommunications Center, Project Management Board and many related units coordinated to synchronously deploy infrastructure items. The entire system of transmission channels, LAN and high-speed Wifi networks was installed, configured and strictly inspected before being put into operation, meeting the connection and operation requirements of the Organizing Committee as well as the usage needs of participating delegates.
In particular, VNPT Hanoi has activated 2 high-speed Internet channels with a capacity of 500 Mbps to operate continuously from May 10 to the end of the Congress to serve the demand for large data transmission. Along with that, the VinaPhone mobile network in the National Convention Center area has also been strengthened for broadcasting capacity and regular quality testing to ensure stable communication and no local network congestion occurs.
Information security and incident prevention are particularly focused on by VNPT Hanoi. All equipment before being put into operation is inspected and strictly accepted. The unit also develops information rescue plans, arranges a team of experienced technical staff on duty 24/7 closely following the Congress's work program to promptly handle any arising situations.
Ensuring telecommunications infrastructure and information security to serve the Congress continues to affirm the capacity, experience and responsibility of VNPT Hanoi in particular, and VNPT Group in general in accompanying important political events of the country, contributing to the overall success of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
