Lang Son - Import-export activities recorded a new record, surpassing the 1,900 vehicle mark for the first time in just one day.

On April 26, informing reporters, the leader of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board said that the total number of imported and exported vehicles on April 25, 2025, reached 1,905 vehicles, the highest since the beginning of the year.

This is also the first time Lang Son has recorded a number of commercial vehicles exceeding the 1,900 vehicles/day mark.

Specifically, the number of exported cargo vehicles reached 569 vehicles (including 403 fruit vehicles and 166 other commodity vehicles), an increase of 85 vehicles compared to the previous day. The total amount of agricultural products exported is estimated at about 8,202 tons.

In the import direction, there are 1,336 vehicles, an increase of 223 vehicles compared to April 24, with a total weight of goods of about 4,067 tons.

In addition, there are 17 newly imported cars, bringing the total number of newly imported cars since the beginning of the year to 6,095 cars. The number of vehicles in stock at the border gate has decreased to 62.

In order to free up the number of waiting vehicles, on April 25, the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone coordinated with Bang Tuong (China) to extend the working time until 8:00 p.m. (Hanoi time) at Huu Nghi Border Gate and the Tan Thanh - Po Chai specialized road.

Thanks to that, the number of vehicles in existence at border gates decreased to 406 vehicles, a decrease of 37 vehicles compared to the previous day.

Speaking with reporters, Mr. Doan Thanh Son - Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee said that the first time exceeding the 1,900 vehicles/day mark shows that customs clearance capacity at Lang Son province's border gates is being significantly improved. The coordination measures between the two sides of the border have shortened the time for procedures, increased transportation efficiency, promoted efficiency, facilitated businesses and contributed to boosting import and export, especially for agricultural products.
