At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An announced the Politburo's Decision on approving Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Yen province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac sent his congratulations and expressed his confidence that Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An will successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac suggested that Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, together with the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and key leaders of the locality, strengthen solidarity, focus on leadership and direction in effectively implementing political tasks; and work with the whole country to successfully implement the set goals and tasks, especially the Resolution of the 17th Phu Yen Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An was born in 1973, from Nghe An province; professional qualification: Master of Education Management; political qualification: Senior in political theory.
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An used to work at the Provincial People's Committee Office, Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union, Phu Yen Provincial Women's Union; held the position of Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, delegate of the People's Council of Phu Yen province, term VI, VII; Secretary of Dong Hoa District Party Committee; Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, term XVI; Permanent Deputy Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.
At the 19th session of the 7th Phu Yen Provincial People's Council, on November 16, 2020, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council.
