Through people's feedback on social network Facebook, the Traffic Police (CSGT) of Ninh Binh Provincial Police quickly verified and clarified the traffic collision due to unsafe lane changes and illegal overtaking. Accordingly, 2 related drivers were recorded and fined according to regulations.
Previously, the police agency invited 2 drivers, Mr. T.X. H (born in 1969, residing in Giao Thuy commune, Ninh Binh province), driving passenger car license plate 18B-015. XX and Mr. N.D. T (born in 1989, residing in Nam Truc commune, Ninh Binh province) driving pickup truck license plate 29H-272. XX to the headquarters to work.
Through working, the 2 drivers confirmed that at about 4:09 pm on March 14, on Le Duc Tho street, Hong Quang ward, Ninh Binh province; driver T.X. H driving a passenger car changed lanes without ensuring safety for the car behind. Driver N.D. T driving a pickup truck overtook the car, cut in front, leading to a traffic collision between the two vehicles.
Based on regulations, Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 made a record of administrative violation against Mr. T.X. H for changing lanes in the wrong place, fined from 600,000 - 800,000 VND. For Mr. N.D. T, he was fined for overtaking in cases where he was not allowed to overtake, fined from 4,000 - 6,000,000 VND, minus 2 points on the driver's license.
