Causes of traffic jams
Dust accumulation: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate in the winch pulling structure, reducing the belt's smooth operation and leading to jamming. Regular cleaning of this area is necessary to ensure effective use.
Wrecked or confused rope: During use, the rope may be twisted, folded or confused inside the coil structure. This makes it impossible to pull or reclaim the rope normally. Users should remove the plastic coating and check directly to determine the location of the tangled wire, thereby properly fixing it.
Safety lane incidents: Wire lane incidents are a standard feature on most modern vehicles. When this system has a problem, it can affect the electronic locking mechanism of the belt, making it impossible to pull the belt out or withdraw it.
Fault or damaged wire rut: If the above reasons have been ruled out but the wire is still stuck, it is likely that the wire rutator is worn or damaged, often due to collision or long-term use. In this case, it is necessary to replace it with genuine components to ensure safety.
Mechanical structure is rusty and abated: Parts such as knots, joints, coil springs, etc. will easily rust or wear down if not lubricated and maintained periodically, causing wear and tear. Timely inspection and replacement of these parts helps prolong the life of the belt.
How to fix traffic jams
To ensure safety and maintain the effectiveness of the safety belt, users can follow the following steps:
Initial status assessment: Check the overall belt to determine the exact location and cause of the jam. Try pulling the rope repeatedly to observe signs of abnormality.
Check the coil lock: The coil part needs to be guaranteed to operate properly. If the coil lock is found to be broken or the rope is not collected automatically, it needs to be replaced with genuine equipment.
Sanitize and maintain mechanical details: Eliminate dirt and debris in the coil area. At the same time, lubricate parts such as the turn signal, brake pads, and coil structure to avoid rust and wear and tear.
Untire and adjust the rope: If the rope is twisted or coiled incorrectly, do it straight and make sure the rope is neatly arranged in the striker. Do not let ropes get entangled with strange objects.
Check again after repair: After cleaning or replacing the components, try pulling and dropping the rope many times to make sure the rope works smoothly and without any further stuckness.
