Sir, how do we understand AI, ChatGPT?
- About 20 years ago, the concept of AI was started to be researched. Microsoft and Elon Musk were the pioneers, laying the first foundations of AI. Open AI is a subsidiary of Microsoft and is the agency that developed the ChatGPT tool. Why is it called Open AI? Because its nature is open, it cannot be closed, it can be open for everyone to add and perfect together.
AI is not inherently intelligent, but needs humans to change and transform it to become as intelligent as humans.
AI needs to be updated and it only gets smart through being taught. From a common data pool, humans train AI to become more complete.
Each participant completes, ChatGPT will be filled up, becoming a big data platform. The bigger the data, the more accurate and perfect the information processing. But the data platform only accounts for 10%, the remaining 90% of humans have to teach more on the basis of the existing database.
Because of that, a profession was born: AI Trainer - AI training.
In Vietnam, how is the AI Training profession developing?
- This profession is currently developing very strongly in Vietnam, with many training centers being formed.
We can imagine the work of AI trainers like this: A call center, if a normal person sits, it will be very tiring. Thanks to trained AI, it can serve millions of customers within 1 second and no one needs to participate. AI can even communicate so advancedly that it can respond in the correct dialect of the dialect that the person asked it; or it can distinguish the emotions of the caller...
AI can become super intelligent, but to get there we have to teach and train it, because just buying ChatGPT doesn't automatically give it such features.
How do you assess the future of AI?
The “battle” of making money with AI now is about applications being developed and enriched, while the original platform is just a wholesale tool.
AI training will be very developed in the future, those who have the ability to train AI will easily be recruited into technology companies. Vietnamese universities should pay attention to AI training, must communicate to people to understand that AI is not only an application but AI also creates a training profession.
Vietnam has a very intelligent young workforce that is receptive to this AI training profession.
The dangers of overly intelligent AI
AI has appeared "deeply" in life, do you think it threatens to take away many human jobs?
- Now anything in this world can apply AI.
I give some typical examples as follows:
For customer service and support positions, a small company may have dozens or hundreds of people working in the customer service department; large companies and multinational corporations, this number can be up to thousands. In fact, each country has to establish/hire a specific customer service department.
Instead of hiring a large number of employees to do this job, many businesses choose to use AI tools and train AI to be capable of serving millions of customers.
KCS (quality control) staff will also soon be replaced by AI that can create “magic eyes” that scan products with much more accurate error detection. AI cameras will automatically scan, automatically detect defective products and automatically remove them from the line. In many factories’ lines now, AI is used to control product quality and high-resolution machines are used to carefully check for errors.
Insurance inspectors, administrative staff, border check-in staff... can all be easily replaced by AI. Even manual labor jobs such as serving, cleaning... can be replaced by AI.
The secretary application will replace humans with secretarial work. This AI application will help leaders have all the content and work requirements quickly and accurately, from meeting minutes, work schedule reminders, data processing...
What advice do you have in the context of AI threatening to take many people's jobs?
- Workers must be proactive in grasping information and must understand the problem clearly. First, determine whether the professions and jobs will exist or disappear in the future. Second, there are professions where AI penetrates deeply but does not make that job disappear, but helps workers to be more leisurely and increase labor productivity.
In short, understanding AI, candidates will not be unemployed.
According to Anphabe, in Vietnam today, there is a reality: Workers really want to apply AI to their work but they are not trained and do not have resources; only 27% of businesses can apply AI to their work. How do you assess the open market and where are we on the world's AI application map?
- This is the opportunity for technology companies. We have to think, from checking in or parking cars and motorbikes, everything will use AI, even from rural to urban areas, everyone is using AI technology but does not know. We are not yet on the world's AI application map, but at this speed, the time to establish a position will not be long.

According to Mr. Ha Anh Tuan, in the recruitment field, AI can currently measure 5 indicators of workers. The first indicator is the health indicator, AI is connected to a health data measuring device to give a score for the physical index. The second indicator is about IQ (Intelligence Quotient). AI has tests to evaluate the candidate's IQ. The third indicator is EQ (Emotional Quotient) - emotional index. Through the voice and interview process, AI will know emotionally whether the candidate is affected or not. The fourth indicator is called SQ - spiritual index.
