However, the reality is that not all excellent art students in the school can become artists after they graduate. Talent is always accompanied by training and a new life ability that can lead to an expected result.

With 4 group exhibitions, most recently the exhibition "Nhip cai say", the group of young artists initiated by new graduates of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts has made their mark in professional activities, in both aspects: In each artist and in the artist group.
Named Studio42, reminiscent of the address of the Vietnam Fine Arts School at 42 Yet Kieu, the artists have a common painting workshop as a weekly painting studio, helping the painting process to be continuous and without interruption. An environment for joint activities, thereby nurturing the growth of each individual artist in it.
The biggest problem for art students when graduating is not having a plan for the future and lacking professional discipline. The classification here is understood as: What should I do to become a professional painter as I want? And, I have to maintain my personal discipline, to be proactive in painting, not to follow the norms set by others. If they do not think about and prepare for this, new graduates can easily get caught up in making money without spending enough time on composing, or they will easily drift away and lose their career orientation.

It is a fact that many young artists seek to participate in artist groups (can be one or more groups), exhibiting together, before officially introducing their individual exhibitions to the public. The connection between these groups is loose, because they exhibit together but do not have much time to paint together regularly, the artists' goals are not strong enough and consistent for a long time.
Studio42 was born in 2020, by artists who studied at the same art school, had time to play together and paint in the club for many years when they were students before, with the idea initiated by artist Duong Manh Quyet. The connection of Studio42 is closer, because the artists are all young, newly graduated, share the same need to practice painting regularly, and both want to maintain a motivation to work with dedication.

Sat Bay (2025) is the fourth exhibition, following the exhibitions: I am US (2020), open Factory 42:2 (2022), and GOI-MO (2024) that Studio42 launched to the public. This is the result of the painting process together along with the working process of each artist at their personal painting workshop. The exhibition consists of two main parts: Direct paintings at Studio42 and compositions.
With the theme "Living", the common point of the group of artists is that they all sincerely express their thoughts and emotions in the paintings. The concerns, bonds, going deep into the inner person or looking at the context of life around are all clearly expressed. A common theme but open, each individual expresses different feelings, reflecting life that takes place in them, around them.
With materials ( Octoberistic powder, ink, oil paint, lacquer), medium and small size, monochrome and multi-colored, the exhibition has diverse and attractive contrast. In between black is green, pink, orange, red... hidden with a flow of emotions, between quietness and the fierce "smiling" each has its own space.

While Dang Nguyen Khanh Van's paintings give us a feeling of expressing the pressures of childhood obsession, Dao Thao Phuong's paintings bring a strong natural image with dry, thorny trees, Cao Thuc's paintings as a firm affirmation of life "Grass still burns even when it is still wet", Dao Nam's paintings bring the "Storm of hearts" where people exist in the storm of nature, Pham Duy Ly with surreal paintings like a wide and balanced space but bring a precarious feeling of "Waring storm No. 3", "Storm", "Storm", "203..., Nguyen Hoang Dung has a multi- nghiaed image (both gentle and gentle) combined with leaves and leaves.
While Nguyen Yen "attracted" her eyes through the door to find something outside, Nguyen Quang Do focused on observing the boxes and chairs lined up with silence, Le Anh Dung could hardly leave his memory and dream like a slow film created by the ink printed on paper...
Each author, whether direct or reserved, has a connection of paintings like a story told through images instead of simply arranging the images next to each other. painting and bringing works to the public, more than sharing their work, is also a way to balance yourself, balance yourself with life, find your meaning in life.
Studio42 activity is a useful model for young people who love art and want to pursue their own path. It not only helps nurture a group of individuals with unique personalities, giving them an environment to speak their voices firmly, but also nurtures a necessary balance in the face of uncertain and shaky boundaries: From a new graduate to an artist, from an individual with inconsistent dreams and motivations, from an inner being too complex, contradictory, overwhelming, from an un dinhfied voice in many voices...
When each individual finds a balance in those differences, they can hope to go far with great works over time...
