Tay Tuu flower village is located at the gateway to the capital, a long-standing traditional craft village in Hanoi, even at noon there are still people going to the fields. In the equally harsh midday sun of winter, on this side two women are pruning chrysanthemum branches while on the other side a middle-aged man is pruning flower buds.
A short distance away, a young man was fertilizing the plants, and across the street, a girl was watering the flowers. Looking at the calloused hands tending the flowers, one could see the beauty of labor and the love of the farmer's job. The flower beds were straight, the flower buds were close together and interspersed with the blooming flowers, spreading their colors and fragrances, promising a brilliant flower season.
When farmers are busy with their flower gardens and flower fields, Quang Ba flower market is bustling with buyers and sellers. From simple flowers like chrysanthemums to noble flowers like orchids, lilies... all are gathered here like a flower feast for the eyes. The market is usually bustling at night but at the end of the year it is crowded during the day.
And the sellers here are all very friendly to customers without any hesitation. The old man with a funny face saw me taking a photo and asked for a pose to post on Facebook to show off to his friends. The flower seller jokingly asked if it was fresh enough, it must look beautiful in the photo! And the man who was diligently holding each flower bud told me this is also a work of art, isn't it?

Flowers are not only colors, art, but also carry many meanings about life. For example, roses are a symbol of love; lilies represent purity and innocence, tulips represent sincere love and trust... Flowers are everywhere, used everywhere and are especially indispensable in Spring, on important occasions.
And suddenly I remembered the poem "Spring in a foreign land" by Nguyen Binh with the line: "In the new sunny season, sadness does not come/ In the midst of the fresh flower festival, the heart is warmed/ Surely you will never forget to remind/ Away from home, do you get drunk from drinking wine?".
