Fair for workers and people
The 2025 Vietnamese goods fair to serve workers and people of the capital will be organized by the Hanoi City Labor Federation at the Dong Anh Commune Cultural, Information and Sports Center. The fair has a scale of 51 booths, with the participation of nearly 40 prestigious enterprises and production facilities in the capital.
All products at the Fair are discounted by at least 10% compared to the market, many items are deeply discounted by 30 - 40%, accompanied by promotional programs and special gratitude gifts for union members, workers and people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tan - Yamaha Motor Vietnam phument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and his colleagues attended the Fair quite early. Mr. Tan is from Bac Giang, came to Hanoi to work and stay at Hau Duong, Dong Anh. His wife is also a worker. They have 2 children, one of whom is in grade 7, the other is under five years old. The couple's income is about 20 million VND/month, so all household expenses must be carefully calculated.
Coming to the Fair, Mr. Tan went to the clothing stall to choose items for his children, then went to see some stalls of household appliances, food, and candy. "3 clothes/clothes for children costing 100,000 VND are cheap, beautiful materials, and sewing lines are in line" - Mr. Tan said. Mr. Tan also said that in the family, the ham market and rice and water are taken care of by his wife, and recently seeing his wife say that the price of green vegetables has increased, so he also intends to get to know and buy vegetables from the stalls in the Fair.
Also coming to the Fair early, Ms. Do Thi Khanh Vi - a teacher at Mai Lam Secondary School (Dong Anh) intended to survey the prices of the products before deciding to buy some of the items the family needed. After passing through some booths, Ms. Vi said that the goods were abundant, the prices were preferential because they were all about 10% lower than those in the market, some items were even reduced by 30%.
For Ms. Vi and her colleagues coming to the Fair, this is not only an opportunity for workers to shop but also an opportunity for local people to buy necessary things. Because, the Fair has hundreds of essential, diverse and quality-assured items to serve workers' lives such as clothes, shoes, household appliances, electronics, food, fast-moving consumer goods, health care products, environmental sanitation... being displayed and promoted.
Trade unions encourage businesses right at the booth
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, not only a space for shopping at preferential prices, the Fair is also an important highlight in the propaganda work of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", contributing to raising social awareness, arousing pride and responsibility when choosing Vietnamese products, building a new - civilized, healthy consumer culture and prioritizing domestic goods.
Through the Fair, the City Labor Federation wants to create conditions for union members, workers, civil servants and people to access high-quality Vietnamese goods at preferential prices, reduce spending burdens and improve welfare.
At the same time, it contributes to promoting domestic product consumption, supporting businesses to overcome difficulties, stabilize production, keep jobs and income for workers. This is also an activity to create a forum for businesses to promote their brands, expand markets, and strengthen connections with workers - the most loyal customers of Vietnamese goods.
The special thing here is the union's companionship with the enterprise and the enterprise's thanks to the union. Right at the Fair, Ms. Dinh Thi Lien - Chairman of Thuan An Commune Trade Union and leaders of the Commune Trade Union visited the booths of 2 enterprises in Thuan An to directly give gifts and encourage the enterprise. The items of the two enterprises here include clothes and ceramics.
The 2025 Vietnamese goods fair serving workers and people in the capital ended with over 2,000 visitors and shoppers. Workers and people are happy to buy quality goods at preferential prices, while businesses are happy to have the opportunity to serve and promote quality Vietnamese goods.
