The yellow color of Autumn
Although she only visited Russia last summer, Ms. Ha Phuong could not help but be surprised by the beauty of the golden Autumn here. Russian Autumn is not only a splendid scene, but also carries an unnamed emotion, a part of the most gentle soul.
Autumn in Russia is a perfect blend of yellow, orange, and red. A row of eucalyptus trees, maple leaves, canopy trees... changing leaves, from the park stretching to the temperate forests, creating a majestic but poetic natural picture", the Vietnamese female tourist constantly praised the beauty of her country.
For Ms. Ha Phuong, Russia is the perfect destination for those who love the romantic, peaceful beauty of nature in harmony with the splendor of architecture. Here, visitors can both admire the autumn forest changing color to yellow leaves, get lost in the ancient palaces, or walk through peaceful villages - where life is still flowing slowly, simply and sincerely.

During the nearly 2-week trip, Ms. Ha Phuong and her group of friends traveled through many lands, from Moscow, Saint Petersburg to the ancient cities of the "Golden Ring Road" and the Russian countryside. This trip is eye-catching, happy and different. In Moscow, Kolomenskoye Park is her favorite destination because it is like a giant forest in the heart of the capital, filled with yellow and peaceful.
In Saint Petersburg, the forest in the Autumn Palace overwhelms Ms. Ha Phuong with the romantic natural scenery with rows of maple trees and eucalyptus turning yellow. Meanwhile, Suzdal city has a fairy-tale beauty with many churches, monasteries, and ancient Kremlin palaces along the Kamenka River.
However, in this trip, Ms. Ha Phuong was moved the most by Plyos: It is a city nearly 400km from Moscow. When I came here, I felt like I had come out of the works of poetry painting, where artist Levitan lived for a while to paint classic paintings. The autumn in rural Russia turns out to be so peaceful, the gentle scenery along the Volga River, with beautiful wooden houses lying comfortably on the hillsides and many rows of decorated eucalyptus trees. I was originally afraid of crowded tourist areas, so I really liked it here.
Different beauty
Having traveled to 25 countries at all seasons of the year, Ms. Ha Phuong has a special affection for the Russian Autumn Festival. In Red Square, there is always a majestic red color of the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, and the historical museum. And, when autumn comes, the intertwined yellow leaves of the wooden trunk trees make Red Square even more prominent.
Even the typical hanging arched roofs of churches in Russia, Ms. Ha Phuong finds them more brilliant in the fall. This trip, the Vietnamese female tourist did not encounter many difficulties, everything went smoothly as originally planned.
However, for her, this trip became easy and peaceful not only because of the natural scenery and architectural works but also because of the warmth of the Russian people.
at first glance, first of all, Russiaans may seem quite cold and less smiling, especially for those who do not know Russian, but if they need help, they are always willing and sincere. I remember most when I came to Plyos, the people really loved it. They are ready to greet both in the morning and evening even though we do not know each other. I met an uncle at the bus station, and it took me only 2 hours to get here, but I still took the whole group to the place with the most beautiful viewing angle in the city, Ms. Ha Phuong recalled.
At the same time, the female tourist also revealed that Autumn in Russia is quite short, lasting only a few weeks. The best time to see the "golden autumn" is from early to mid-October.

Although Russia is undergoing an embargo and war, Ms. Ha Phuong affirmed that tourism activities here are still very safe. Although international brands have withdrawn from the market, the Russian has quickly replaced them with domestic brands with similar quality from coffee, fast food to soft drinks.
An important note is that international credit cards cannot be used in Russia. Tourists need to bring cash and book rooms through domestic platforms such as: Ostrovok, Zenhotels, Onetwotrip. In addition, overseas phone SIMs are often blocked, so ask local people to help buy them or register directly in Russia. Ms. Ha Phuong's group encountered a situation where the whole group "lost mang" after only 1 day of using a SIM bought in Vietnam.
Autumn comes to Russia gently and deeply, making people both love, miss, and want to return. For Ms. Ha Phuong, that trip was not only a journey, but also a return trip with memories, the childhood years of living in Kiev - part of the former Soviet Union. Therefore, the female tourist always believes that "Autumn in Russia comes to love, but leaving is to remember".
