Highlights from the book series President Ho Chi Minh's Heritage
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, Tre Publishing House has added many new titles to the book series, typically: Uncle Ho with major holidays and anniversaries of the year; Uncle Ho with the Vietnam People's Public Security; Uncle Ho with the Vietnam Revolutionary Press; Uncle Ho with the fostering of revolutionary generations for future generations and "Ho Chi Minh - Vision beyond time".
Notably, the book "Uncle Ho with the Vietnam People's Public Security" was published on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Tre Publishing House also compiled the "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space Handbook". The book is distributed free of charge on the Publishing House's website, aiming to serve agencies, units and many readers interested in spreading the ideological and cultural values of President Ho Chi Minh in today's life.
footsteps of patriots - depicting portraits of patriots
Tre Publishing House introduces new work "Fols of the Patriotic" by Dr. Nguyen Van Khoan. The author is familiar to readers through many research books and reviews about President Ho Chi Minh such as: "October 30 of Uncle Ho's words", "Ho Chi Minh's style" or "Nguyen Ai Quoc and the Hong Kong case in 1931".
In this work, Dr. Nguyen Van Khoan spent a lot of time meeting witnesses and collecting documents to write about revolutionary predecessors. Familiar faces such as: Le Hong Son, Phung Chi Kien, Duong Bach Mai... are depicted along with less well-known characters but have made great contributions to the history of the nation.
The list of characters in the book is quite diverse: Hoang Trong Mau - Commander-in-Chief of Quang Phuc Quan; Ho Hoc Lam - a Party member without a Party card; 3 brothers Nguyen Thuc Canh, Nguyen Thuc Duong, Nguyen Thuc Do - who do not want to be slaves; Ly Phuong Duc - a female traffic soldier; Nguyen Sy Sach - an outstanding son of Xo Viet Nghe Tinh; Do Ngoc Du - Secretary of the Provisional Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee; or patriotic intellectuals such as Duong Bach Mai, Trinh Dinh Thao, Hoang Dao Thuy, Hoang Minh Giam...
The story of three soldiers - a voice from the battlefield
In addition to the quarterly section, Tre Publishing House is also preparing to release the novel "The Story of Three Soldiers" by writer Vu Cong Chien - the author who made his mark with "Memories of the Soldier". The work is expected to be released at the end of August 2025, about 284 pages thick.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Xuan Thach, the novel recreates the soldier's life through the eyes of a rookie, from the day he enlisted until the end of the war. The main character and the unit have experienced many battlefields, from Laos after the Paris Agreement to the Central Highlands and Saigon in the Ho Chi Minh campaign. The work depicts a fierce fighting world but also contains camaraderie and mutual dependence to survive between the lines of life and death.
