Beyond the meaning of the internal playground
According to Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Union, Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, this year's teams showed professionalism, creativity and methodical investment in both content, technology and performance form.
Many performances made a strong impression thanks to teamwork, application of modern technology and emotional messages, thereby reflecting the spirit of innovation and the aspiration for digital transformation of the Banking industry. The program is not only an internal playground but also spreads the image of a modern, dynamic, brave and ready to break through in the digital age banking industry.
In which, round 3 of "Creating a Digital Future" has truly become a highlight and also a decisive competition part of the Contest. This is where the teams show creative thinking, analytical ability and propose practical solutions for the Banking industry.
In the suggestion contest, the teams presented many ideas and initiatives related to innovating nghiệp vụ processes, management and administration, applying technology, improving customer experience, developing digital banking, ensuring security and system safety...... Many solutions were evaluated as having high applicability, not only applicable at units but can be deployed throughout the industry.
Ms. Duong Thi Nhu Quynh - one of the 5 official members of the Vietnam Foreign Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank Team - said that the unit has organized an internal competition to select the team to participate in the 2026 Banking Industry Digital Transformation Contest. In addition to focusing on learning knowledge, members also allocate time to learn performances on stage.
Regarding the brainstorming contest with the content of QR-swiping to reach the world, which was highly appreciated by the judges, Ms. Quynh said that this is an important content for both people working in the banking industry and customers. According to Ms. Quynh, the contest has further enhanced the spirit of digital transformation of each official and employee, so that they can clearly see their responsibilities for their daily work.
Trade union organization is a center of unity, gathering strength
Attending and speaking at the closing and award ceremony of the 2026 Banking Industry Digital Transformation Contest on May 23, Mr. Pham Duc An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam affirmed that the Banking Industry Digital Transformation Contest is organized in the context that the entire industry is actively implementing key tasks on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

Not only carrying the meaning of a movement activity, the Contest is also an opportunity to concretize the orientations for national digital transformation throughout the system. According to the Governor, the Contest is an important event, contributing to improving knowledge, consolidating solidarity and arousing the aspiration for innovation in the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers throughout the industry. At the same time, improving the ability to proactively adapt to technological trends, promoting digital transformation to become deeper and more substantive.
With what took place at the Contest, the Governor highly appreciated the Vietnam Bank Union and upper-level grassroots Trade Union organizations, grassroots Trade Unions that organized this very meaningful Contest, showing the important role of the Trade Union organization as the center of unity, gathering the strength of the entire industry in organizing the implementation of political tasks. At the same time, well implementing the motto: "All activities of the Trade Union organization are aimed at the goal of excellently completing the political tasks of agencies and units in the entire Banking industry".
At the end of the Contest, the Special Prize was awarded to the Vietnam Foreign Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank Team; The First Prize was awarded to the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank Team. The Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 5 Consolation Prizes and Movement Prizes including: Digital Culture Prize, Digital Innovation Prize and Digital Education Prize.

Mr. Pham Duc An - Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam said: Trade union levels and mass organizations need to continue to promote the role of propaganda, mobilization, creating motivation for innovation and creativity; closely coordinate with professionals in training and popularizing digital skills, spreading the "Digital Education for All" movement, contributing to building a team of bank officials with innovative thinking, digital capacity and high adaptability in the context of increasingly deep digital transformation today.
