The Executive Committee of the Bac Giang City Labor Federation has just held a first quarter review conference to announce the decision to receive grassroots unions from industry unions to the City Labor Federation.
At the conference, decisions were announced to receive grassroots trade unions, union members of the Industry and Trade Trade Union (22 grassroots trade unions), Construction Trade Unions (10 grassroots trade unions) and Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Unions (2 trade unions) under the Bac Giang City Labor Federation from March 1, 2025.
The conference held a preliminary review of activities in the first quarter. In the first quarter, the City Labor Federation did a good job of directing and organizing activities to care for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year, coordinating the organization of "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng" at enterprises, visiting and giving 893 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year.
The City Labor Federation organized the program "Tet not far from home" to give Chung cakes to workers at workers' boarding houses in Song Khe, Noi Hoang, Tien Phong wards; presented gifts to 123 workers who did not return home for Tet; promptly grasped the ideological situation, salary, and Tet bonuses among workers.
The City Labor Federation has launched emulation movements among workers and civil servants, focusing on the emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Promoting initiatives, technical improvements"; directing and guiding grassroots unions to coordinate in organizing conferences for civil servants, public employees, labor conferences, etc.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Bac Giang City Labor Federation Bui Van Khuoc highly appreciated the results achieved, and at the same time requested the implementation of propaganda and legal consultation work among workers at enterprises; organize activities during Workers' Month; promote inspection and supervision; strengthen the development of union members, establish trade union organizations; organize well activities to care for union members and workers; organize professional training conferences for grassroots trade union officials.
