A limousine Aurus Senat, part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's official fleet, caught fire fiercely on the streets of Moscow on March 29.
According to Daily Star, the fire broke out near the headquarters of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in the Lubyanka region, north of the Russian capital.
The luxury car, worth £275,000, equivalent to nearly VND10 billion, is believed to be owned by the Russian President's Asset Management Agency. However, there is currently no exact information about who was using the vehicle at the time of the incident.
Initial reports show that the fire started in the engine compartment, then quickly engulfed the entire vehicle.
As the thick black smoke rose, staff at nearby restaurants and bars tried to approach the scene to help put out the fire. Emergency forces were also immediately present to control the situation. Fortunately, no one in the car was injured after the incident.
The limousine Aurus Senat is a Russian-made car, regularly used by President Putin and even chosen by him as a gift on special occasions. The cause of the fire has not yet been officially announced.
