TheAP Linh Ward Trade Union was established and put into operation from July 1, 2025. Currently, the ward union manages and directs 61 grassroots unions with 3,202 union members.
The ward union has closely followed its functions and tasks; developed operating regulations for the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; developed appropriate work programs, assigned tasks to comrades in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and ward union officials. At the same time, regularly grasp the situation of union members and workers; care for and ensure the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The ward union has also directed and guided grassroots unions to consolidate and perfect the Executive Committee; focus on propagating and directing 100% of grassroots unions to organize the "Union Meal" Program on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Tran Van Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, gave a speech that highly appreciated the proactiveness and positivity of the Ward Union in the past time.
In the coming time, to promote the new model of activities effectively, he suggested that the Ward Trade Union should focus on implementing a number of key tasks: Strengthening the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; innovating propaganda work in a flexible and creative form, promoting the strength of information technology platforms; propagating Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; organizing activities to celebrate the Party Congress, Fatherland Front Congress and Trade Union Congress at all levels; focusing on developing union members, establishing new grassroots trade unions in the area; improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities; promoting emulation movements and campaigns associated with the implementation of the tasks of each agency and enterprise, contributing to the overall development of the local trade union organization, making a stronger and more effective contribution to the development of the local one.
Also at the conference, the Ward Union deployed, guided and answered problems in implementing new documents and policies on union financial work at grassroots unions.
