HCMC - Many roads in the city center will be closed to traffic on August 19.

In order to ensure traffic safety and order in activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police announced traffic organization adjustments on some central city streets.

From 6am to 9am on September 19: Temporarily stop vehicles from entering Tran Phu Street from Tran Binh Trong Street to Cong Hoa Ngau Roundabout.

Alternative route:

Tran Phu Street from Le Hong Phong Street to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street: Tran Phu - Tran Binh Trong - Hung Vuong - Le Hong Phong - Ly Thai To - Vong roundabout of Ngau Cung Hoa - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.

Tran Phu Street from Le Hong Phong Street to Nguyen Van Cu Street: Tran Phu - Tran Binh Trong - An Duong Vuong - Nguyen Van Cu.

From 6am to 8am on August 19: Temporarily stop vehicles from entering Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Thanh Ton to Le Loi) and Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Loi to Le Thanh Ton).

Alternative route:

Nguyen Hue Street from Le Thanh Ton Street to Le Loi Street: Le Thanh Ton - Dong Khoi - Le Loi.

Nguyen Hue Street from Le Loi to Le Thanh Ton Street: Nguyen Hue - Le Loi - Pasteur - Le Thanh Ton.

The Traffic Police Department noted that drivers of vehicles traveling through the organized area should reduce speed and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police force, local police, forces directly involved in ensuring traffic order and safety or traffic signaling systems on the road.

Based on the actual traffic situation, the Traffic Police Department will organize forces to adjust traffic flow appropriately, minimizing the impact on the daily lives of people traveling through the organized area and these routes.
