The working delegation was headed by Comrade Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
The delegation included comrade Tran Thi Van - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; comrade Thach Van Chung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Provincial Party Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, and local leaders.
At the working session, the working delegation grasped the production and business situation of enterprises in the context of fluctuating input raw material and fuel prices; and at the same time propagated the successful results of the 16th National Assembly election and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term to workers.
Leaders of Hana Micron Vina Co., Ltd. said that the enterprise is a unit producing and processing integrated microchip boards for mobile phones and smart electronic products, with a total initial investment of nearly 600 million USD.
Factory No. 1 went into operation in November 2020, completed and expanded to a scale of 66,000 m2 in 2022.
On September 16, 2023, the enterprise inaugurated and put into operation Factory No. 2, raising the total investment to more than 1 billion USD, becoming the first semiconductor production project in the Northern region.
Currently, the company is creating jobs for 1,867 workers; the grassroots trade union organization was established in October 2020 and operates effectively.
Speaking at the working session, Comrade Tran Huy Phuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the enterprise in maintaining stable production, taking care of life and jobs for employees. He emphasized that in the past time, the company's employees have actively participated in exercising their rights and obligations as citizens, contributing to the overall success of the election.
The comrade also expressed his impression of the professional, disciplined but friendly working environment at the enterprise; and highly appreciated the role of grassroots trade union organizations in representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers, as well as the concern of company leaders through many practical regimes and policies.
In the context of the world situation still facing many difficulties and fluctuations, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested businesses to continue to maintain stable production, promote development, improve competitiveness, thereby making positive contributions to the economic growth of Bac Ninh province in particular and Vietnam in general.
At the same time, continue to pay more attention to the material and spiritual life of workers, build harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
On this occasion, the working delegation visited the production line and encouraged and presented gifts to workers working at the company.
