On the afternoon of August 18, at the Representative Office of the Industrial Park Trade Union (Nenh Ward), the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation (NAD) to organize a meeting with voters on the topic: "Situde of implementing policies and laws on social housing for workers" in Bac Ninh province.
Attending the conference were comrades: Tran Van Tuan - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Thi Van - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Thi - 15th National Assembly Delegate of Bac Ninh province; Do Thi Viet Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Justice, 15th National Assembly Delegate of Bac Ninh province; Nguyen Thi Ha - teacher at Han Thuyen High School, Bac Ninh province, 15th National Assembly Delegate of Bac Ninh province; Nguyen Van Trien - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province.

Attending were leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Police, the Department of Construction, the Department of Finance, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Health, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Management Board of Industrial Parks, Social Insurance Region 4, State Bank Branch Region 12, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Branch Bac Ninh Province, Bac Ninh Power Company.
Leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and nearly 200 voters who are union officials, workers, and landlordes attended.

In an open atmosphere, voters frankly expressed their opinions and recommendations. In particular, focusing on issues such as: Paying attention to improving housing institutions, childcare, culture - sports in industrial parks and clusters; having policies to encourage businesses to provide vocational training, improve skills for workers; removing obstacles related to the implementation of new regulations on social insurance and health insurance; increasing regional minimum wages; adjusting retirement age according to each field of work to suit the heavy and toxic nature; adjusting electricity prices to suit the actual income of workers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lap - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Haem Vina Limited Liability Company, Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park said: Currently, in the province, there are many social housing projects for low-income people that have been built and opened for sale. However, the number of workers working in industrial parks who are able to buy houses is very small, because the selling price is still too high and there are problems with loan regulations, subject appraisal issues, administrative procedures to prove eligibility for support policies...

Voters requested National Assembly deputies to propose to the Government to support reducing the purchase and rental prices of social housing; simplify administrative procedures as well as support loans and reduce loan interest rates so that low-income workers have access.
Regarding the issue of workers' health, voter Nguyen Thi Hien, MPT Solution Limited Liability Company (Vietnam), Que Vo Industrial Park requested leaders of provincial departments and branches to issue documents directing and strengthening the inspection and supervision of enterprises conducting periodic health check-ups according to regulations; pay attention to improving working conditions, protecting workers, and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers.
At the conference, many voters' opinions suggested overcoming shortcomings, ensuring traffic safety, security, order, and food safety and hygiene in industrial parks and industrial parks in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Van Vi, Fuyu Precision Technology Limited Liability Company, Quang Chau Industrial Park, reflected: The service road in the industrial parks: Quang Chau, Van Trung, Song Khe - Noi Hoang is seriously degraded, making it difficult to move. Many roads do not have lighting or have lighting systems but do not light; at night, high-voltage lights are not turned on, posing a potential risk of accidents for traffic participants. Voters proposed that provincial leaders invest in upgrading road traffic infrastructure (main routes leading to and inside industrial parks); review and install a synchronous lighting system to ensure safety for workers.
The delegates received the opinions of voters and will classify them to send to the National Assembly and competent authorities to study and complete legal documents; have a solution as soon as possible.

At the conference, the Provincial Federation of Labor allocated funds to give 50 gifts (worth 1 million VND/gift) to workers in difficult circumstances.
