On May 19, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation visited, worked and participated in activities to care for union members and workers at Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SDV).
At the program, leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation awarded the title "Enterprise for Workers" to SDV Company to recognize the enterprise's efforts in caring for life, ensuring jobs, income and building a civilized and modern working environment for workers.
On this occasion, SDV Company coordinated with the trade union organization to present gifts to 100 employees in difficult circumstances working at the enterprise. The gifts show the practical concern and sharing of the enterprise and the trade union organization towards workers, contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties and feel secure in working and producing.
Within the framework of the program, the working delegation visited many works and utilities serving the lives of workers in the company's dormitories such as: K-Mart supermarket, guest house area, psychological counseling area for employees, worker dormitory and gym. These are all models that SDV is interested in investing in to improve the material and spiritual quality of life for workers, towards building a friendly, modern and humane working environment.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Lee Eun Chul - Deputy General Director of Samsung Display Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared about the activities to care for workers that the enterprise has implemented in the past time as well as orientations and plans to continue investing in welfare programs in the coming time. At the same time, he expressed his gratitude for the concern, direction, guidance and companionship of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation in the process of enterprises building a stable, harmonious and sustainable working environment.
This activity continues to affirm the effective coordination between trade union organizations and businesses in caring for the lives of union members and workers; and at the same time spread the image of typical businesses for workers in Bac Ninh province.
