On September 8, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation said that the 2nd Bac Ninh Provincial Men's and Women's Football Tournament - 2026 closed after 3 months of exciting competition, creating a useful and healthy playground, contributing to improving the cultural, spiritual and health life of union members and workers.
The tournament is held at the football field of Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry (Viet Yen ward).
The tournament attracted 130 teams with more than 2.2 thousand athletes from 104 grassroots trade unions and businesses participating; divided into 8 competition clusters. After 3 months of competition, the teams played 230 matches, including 178 qualifying matches and 52 final matches.
With a spirit of enthusiasm, solidarity, nobility and playing their best, the players contributed to the audience exciting, dramatic matches with hundreds of goals.
Along with live matches, many matches are livestreamed by the organizers and teams on the province's sports and football websites and the province's trade union's information pages, attracting tens of thousands of viewers, interactions and cheers.
Through this, the spread of the tournament is expanded, bringing worker sports activities closer to a large number of workers.
In the men's category, the first and second place matches are the competition between the Trade Union of Siflex Vietnam Limited Liability Company and the Trade Union of Toan Thinh Limited Liability Company; the third and fourth place matches are between the Trade Union of Goertek Vietnam Limited Liability Company and the Trade Union of Samsung Display Limited Liability Company.
In the women's event, the Trade Union of Newwing Interconnect Technology Limited Company met the Trade Union of Samsung Display Limited Company in the first and second prize matches; Hong Hai Science and Technology Group Trade Union met the Trade Union of Biel Crystal Limited Company in the third and fourth prize matches.
At the closing ceremony, the organizers awarded the titles to the male and female players who scored the most goals; the best goalkeeper; the beauty queen, runner-up of the tournament and the award for the stylish team.
In particular, awarding cups, medals (gold, silver, bronze, fourth prize) and bonuses to teams with high achievements.
Excellently winning the Gold Medal of this year's tournament were the men's team from the Trade Union of Toan Thinh Limited Liability Company and the women's team of the Trade Union of Newwing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company.
