In recent days, storm No. 3 (super typhoon Yagi) with very strong intensity has swept across the northern provinces, causing great devastation. After storm No. 3 made landfall, the storm's circulation caused widespread heavy rain, landslides and caused heavy loss of life and property.
In particular, the flood situation is becoming more complicated and continues to cause damage, seriously affecting all aspects of social life of people in the North.
The Standing Committee of the Can Tho Labor Federation (CLF) organized a fundraising event to support people affected by storm No. 3 Yagi. Accordingly, each cadre, civil servant, public employee, union member, and worker will contribute 1 day's salary/income or more.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho Labor Federation also agreed to support from the Can Tho Trade Union's Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch with an amount of 100 million VND and proposed the Fund Management Board to support union members and workers in Hai Phong City, Hanoi City, Quang Ninh Province, Thai Nguyen Province, Lao Cai Province, Yen Bai Province, Bac Giang Province, Cao Bang Province, and Phu Tho Province.
Can Tho Trade Union will continue to mobilize organizations and individuals to contribute money and materials to support people affected by natural disasters such as storms and floods.

Storms and floods have caused severe damage in many northern provinces.
