In a quick report at the program, Chairwoman of Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai informed that in 2024, the City Labor Union at all levels supported nearly 40 billion VND for union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) in difficult circumstances, those who had work-related accidents, serious illnesses, occupational diseases, work-related accidents, and children of CNVCLD.
During the Lunar New Year of At Ty this year, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation organized the Trade Union Tet Market Program, aiming to create conditions for union members and workers to have the opportunity to access goods with guaranteed quality and reasonable prices. At the program, 100 Tet gifts were given to employees and workers in difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including 1 million VND in cash and gifts.
