Practical achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; 139 years of International Labor; 71 years of victory Dien Bien Phu and 135 years of birth of President Ho Chi Minh, on the morning of May 17, the Standing Committee of the Labor Union (Labor Federation) of Can Tho City held the opening of the City, Officials and Labor Sports Festival (CNVCCLD) in 2025.
This is also an activity to celebrate Workers' Month associated with the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025; responding to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".
In his opening speech, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Nguyen Ngoc Tan said that the city's labor and employment sports festival was organized with 3 competitions, including men's football, women's volleyball and badminton.
Through the sports festival, it contributes to promoting propaganda and education among employees about the role, position and importance of physical exercise, improving health and physical fitness for production. With 22 teams, over 700 athletes and coaches participating, this is also an opportunity for cadres, union members, and employees to exchange, learn, promote the spirit of solidarity and emulation, contribute to improving the quality of work, and build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
To achieve high results, the Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation requested the athletes to compete with all their might in a spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, and honesty; The referee team upholds the sense of responsibility, working fairly, objectively, and honestly.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 14 gifts to union members and employees in difficult circumstances.
