Attending the conference were Mr. Trieu Dinh Le - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, former leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation through various periods, along with a large number of union members in Cao Bang province.
Before the conference took place, the delegates observed a minute of silence in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
Recalling the glorious tradition of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor through the ages, Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation Chairman Ly Thi Hue emphasized: Over the past 95 years, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has continuously developed, matured, and grown stronger.
At the same time, the Chairman of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation invited the delegates to watch the documentary "95 years of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - the trust of workers". The documentary clearly depicted the initial missions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as well as the development process of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee Trieu Dinh Le affirmed that the results achieved by the provincial labor organization in recent times have made an important and positive contribution to the overall development of the province.
The current development phase poses many challenges and urgent tasks for consolidating, building, and developing the labor organization and the workers' movement.
The Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, in addition to continuing to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the resolutions of the trade union congresses at all levels, the trade unions in the province need to thoroughly understand and deeply grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies, closely follow the leadership and direction of the party committees and authorities regarding the organization and activities of the labor union and the workers' movement, and focus on building the working class in both quantity and quality; promote and innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements among workers, officials, and laborers in a practical and appropriate manner.
Along with that, better perform the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; truly be a reliable support for union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation expressed gratitude to the former leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation. At the same time, the unit also awarded and commended many collectives and individual union members with outstanding and exemplary achievements in building a strong labor organization.
