The grassroots trade union (CDCS) of Phan Chau Trinh University currently has 2 divisional trade unions with 210 union members. In 2025, CDCS maintains many activities to care for union members' lives, organize emulation movements, and create a vibrant working atmosphere in the school.
Not only taking care of internal affairs, the trade union also actively participates in social and charity activities. In 2025, the unit gave Tet gifts to disabled children; organized medical examinations and free medicine distribution for people in difficult areas in the Dai Loc area with a total budget of over 100 million VND. Along with that, the trade union mobilized union members to support disease prevention and control and support people affected by natural disasters with an amount of nearly 100 million VND.
After the summary conference, the grassroots trade union coordinated with school leaders to organize "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal". This is not only an opportunity to look back on the journey of a year that has passed but also a moment of reunion, connection, sharing; adding more faith and motivation to enter 2026 with a new spirit and determination.
On this occasion, the Dien Ban Dong Ward Trade Union presented 18 gifts to 18 union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, with a total value of 18 million VND; and also presented 62 Tet shopping vouchers worth 6.2 million VND to 21 grassroots trade union members of Phan Chau Trinh University.
The gifts are supported from the city's Trade Union financial resources, contributing to sharing difficulties and helping union members celebrate Tet more fully.
